Shaun Groom has been appointed by LandMec Pottinger, as Product Specialist for the range of Pottinger grassland machinery and cultivation products.

Taking on this new role, Shaun will be responsible for the development of Pottinger sales activities and events across the country. In addition Shaun will provide a direct communication channel with the Pottinger factory in Austria, allowing us to remain fully in touch with the latest product and company developments.

Having gained National and Higher BTEC qualifications in engineering at Norwich City College, Shaun has held a variety of managerial and sales roles in the agricultural machinery industry. He began his agricultural machinery sales career with Ernest Doe in his native county of Norfolk. Appointments in the importer/manufacturer sector followed, including roles with Opico and Keenan. Shaun then spent three years living and working in New Zealand for The Power Farming Group where he was able to gain an invaluable knowledge of Australasian style grazing and tillage techniques.

Most recently, he has been working as Product Specialist for Rabe UK expanding its dealer network and co-ordinating its sales activities.

Shaun will be based from his home at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire where he will be working with the LandMec Pottinger team and its dealer network across the country.
