Pottinger alpha motion picks up silver medal
Jim Squires accepts the RHASS Silver Medal from Lord Lindsay

The award winning Pottinger Novacat 306 FED Alpha Motion has achieved further recognition for its outstanding design and performance. Already named "Machine of the Year 2006" the unique front mounted mower conditioner was awarded a Silver Medal by The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland at the recent Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh.

All entrants were submitted before a panel of seven judges, who all have a thorough understanding of farming and agriculture. The judges take into account benefits and features of all entrants which will enable farmers to achieve greater efficiency in their farming practises.

Judges visited and spoke with operators of Alpha Motion whom were able to impress upon them the performance and flexibility of Alpha Motion. The judging panel were particularly impressed with the Alpha Motions ability to cope with the demands of put upon it by challenging terrain changes.

Jim Squires Sales Director of Landmec Pottinger was presented with the award from Lord Lindsay President of The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland at the official awards ceremony in Ingliston House during the Highland Show.

Jim Squires commented "This award recognises the engineering excellence and design achievement invested in Alpha Motion by Pottinger" he went onto say "We are of course delighted to accept this prestigious award and will further enhance the status of Alpha Motion as the leading front mounted mower conditioner available on the market today"
