Laser Makes Its Uk Debut At Cereals 2006
Tecnoma, a member of the market leading Exel Group, is known throughout the UK for its mounted and trailed sprayers and has in response to market demand has now extended its range of sprayers for the UK market to include self propelled sprayers under the brand name - Laser. The Laser range consists of five models with tank capacities of 1800 litres, 2500L, 3000L, 4000L and 5200L, boom widths ranging from 24 to 42 meters. Powered by Deutz engine (from 103kW to 173kW), the Laser are equipped with hydrostatic transmissions utilising components from established suppliers (Bosch/Rexroth® and Poclain®). All Laser models are equipped with the well known and proven AXAIR pneumatic active suspension that can be also found on Tecnoma Galaxy and Fortis trailed models. This air suspension automatically compensates any weight variation during work enabling outstanding comfort for the driver and excellent boom stability. The state of the art Aventa CanBus controller is the standard user-friendly control system allowing the operator a simple finger tip control for all sprayer functions including a unique sequential boom section control from the joystick of the self propelled sprayer. In recent years Tecnoma has sold Laser self-propelled units to farming enterprises in Western and Eastern Europe but also in countries such as Australia and Israel. These machines are mostly used on large scale farms to spray a wide variety of crops including cereals, potatoes, sugar beets, corn and cotton.
