POTTINGER JUMBO COMBILINE
Pottinger the world market leader in self loading wagons has introduced a new range of large capacity dual purpose self loading forage wagons. In seconds the wagon can be converted to a high capacity harvest trailer capable of hauling large loads. The Jumbo Combiline range is available in 60, 66 & 72 m3 capacities offering high capacity with versatility. A unique 3 way folding top front panel is the secret to the versatility. The hydraulically controlled panel provides a forage compression panel in loading wagon mode enabling a high compression ratio to be maintained maximising load efficiency. When switching to harvest trailer mode this compression panel is folded neatly down against the front panel which then folds in turn folds forward 90 degrees allowing the wagon operator a clear view into the trailer for filling by a self propelled forage harvester, when nearly full the front panel can be raised to its vertical position allowing full use of the wagon’s capacity. Equipped as you might expect with commercial specification high speed axles and 710/45 22.5 tyres as standard. Larger models also feature self levelling hydraulic suspension, ensuring excellent weight distribution in the most difficult of conditions. Combiline models utilise Pottinger’s 2mtr wide pick up and Powermatic loading and chopping system from its existing Jumbo models. This heavy duty chopping unit is fitted with an 800mm diameter loading rotor which feeds the crop across 45 knives these being fitted with Pottinger’s auto reset spring protection system. This arrangement gives a market leading 34mm chop length and Pottinger fit as standard its unique swing out knife bank system allowing knife sharpening to be carried out in minutes.
