PÖTTINGER C6 TERRASEM
Heralding a further move into large scale arable equipment for the family owned Austrian business is the newly released C6 Terrasem trailed minimal tillage seed drill. Following on from the huge success of its already well established existing Terrasem 3 & 4 mtr models this new C series model brings a new ergonomic layout and eco efficient design features aimed at reducing the power, fuel and time needed to drill large acreages. Large arable farmers, contractors and contract farming companies will appreciate the ease of not only operation but minimal routine maintenance, simple calibration and low running costs. In line with Pöttinger policy wearing parts are hardened at Pöttingers own in house hardening centre ensuring wearing parts remain competitively priced. The C6 offers several unique features and maintains those features that on the existing 3 & 4 mtr models have helped give Pöttinger a healthy market share. 510mm diameter cultivating discs allow for market leading trash incorporation, new hydraulically, adjustable levelling boards plus 425mm wide staggered press wheels ensure the best possible seed bed preparation in direct, cultivated or ploughed ground. A completely new sowing coulter design features a double disc coulter set up attached via a parallelogram mounting allowing full use of adjustable individual coulter pressure up to a maximum of 130 kgs. In the months ahead the Terrasem C6 will be complemented by larger models the Terrasem C8 & C9 at 8 & 9 mtr respectively.
