Azur Primatec PRIMATEC MOUNTED Sprayer Range TX For nearly 50 years Tecnoma has been developing and manufacturing spraying equipment for international markets. Founded in 1952 by Msr. Vincent Ballu the company is now a key member of the Exel Group, quoted on the French stock exchange (FSD 250). The Ballu family still retains its majority shareholding and Msr Patrick Ballu, son of the founder, is Chairman and Managing Director of the Group. The Exel Group is a world leader in spraying technology employing 1,800 people with an annual turnover in excess of €275 million. The Group has continued to expand and develop its range of spraying equipment and secure valuable markets in agriculture, horticulture and industry. The board of Exel is committed to research and development to ensure that one of its high profile brands is able to satisfy the changing needs from each market. The Tecnoma factory is based at Epernay, in the centre of the world renowned French champagne region. This modern factory employs around 200 staff and clearly demonstrates the Groups commitment to invest in research and development. The recently installed roto-moulding and curing process machinery has enabled Tecnoma to meet the needs of the Exel Group with all its polyethylene tanks. A 3-stage paint process is employed at the Tecnoma factory for all booms and chassis. The shot-blast, oven-baked two part epoxy primer and polyester paint process produces a finish which is hard wearing, flexible and highly resistant.
