NOVACAT FRONT MOUNTED DISC MOWER & CONDITIONERS
Grassland makes an important contribution to the feeding of healthy,

Efficient ground-hugging, low contamination and a quick, precise operation
are the demands made from the market. Engineering details and functions
on machines contribute significantly to harvesting quality forage.
At the turn of the decade, Pöttinger developed a cutter bar for
their range of mounted disc mowers to provide a technically leading
range of machines to satisfy the needs of farmers and contractors. Designed,
manufactured and developed by Pöttinger the cutter-bar has a clean,
aerodynamic profile. Combined with a big overlap via oval discs, cutting
performance has to be seen to be believed - even in the most difficult
conditions.

The NovaCat series incorporates seven models of front mounted machines
with various specifications of suspension to meet the needs of the global
market. These models cover cutting widths from 2.62 to 3.04 metres.

NovaCat Alpha
Motion heralds a new age in disc mower suspension. In minutes the
mower can be easily attached to tractors of 65 to 300 HP. The state
of the art suspension system enables the frame to react to every
change in terrain protecting both the turf and machine. |

The NovaCat
H / ED offers hydraulic weight alleviation
for effective ground hugging performance. A three-point suspension
system mounted on ball-joints gives the moer multi-directional freedom
of movement. This series is available with / without conditioner
in cutting widths from 2.62 to 3.04 metres.

Classic offers the user a minimum
weight front mounted machine ideal for zero grazing applications.
The use of aluminium in the design and the short headstock offers
maneuverability on the smallest of tractors from 65HP. Counter sprumg
weight alleviation offers straightforward and effective ground pressure
across the whole of the cutter bar. |
