Us LandMec Pottinger is a Sales Division of the Land Machinery Group of Companies. This privately owned family business situated on the edge of Dartmoor at Ivybridge in South Devon was originally founded in 1948. Its core activity has always been the importing and distribution of agricultural machinery throughout the UK. LandMec Pottinger currently distributes machines from seven major European brands. Long-standing business relationships have been established with all the manufacturers ensuring continuity in supply of whole-goods and spare parts for their customers. The machines are distributed through a network of Dealers located throughout the UK. The Dealer Network is supported by a National Sales and Service Team providing Product Information, Field Demonstrations, Installation and Technical Support on a local basis. These field activities are backed-up from the Ivybridge base with Sales Administration Department ensuring effective communication to our customers. The test of any service orientated business is the
ability to make things happen in the event of the unexpected. The LandMec
Pottinger business incorporates a fully stocked parts warehouse supported
by a telephone help-desk for all parts enquiries, CD parts system and
an online ordering facility, advising stock levels, delivery lead times
and pricing schedules.
